Issac Clarke

         Who is Issac Clarke? Issac Clarke is an engineer who was contracted to the Ishimura to go investigate on what was happening on the spaceship. He went with a group and his only main objective was to find his wife, Nicole Brennan.

               He is spacecraft expert and not a soldier, which makes him different from other main characters from other games. He only is good at repairing machinery and spacecrafts but put into a horrible nightmare as he has to fight against these creatures called necromorphs ( Covered into another topic) that attack the Ishimura ship.During travelling to the Ishimura ship, and why he went there, He received a distress signal from his wife, Nicole Brennan who as an Medical officer. He went with a group of people to find out what was going on on the ship but only came there to save his wife. As he kept going, he saw visions of his wife and thought it was real. In fact, it wasnt real since she died during the necromorph outbreak. During his time on the spaceship, he got infected by the marker as he start seeing hallucinations of his wife, losing his sanity as he starts to lose his group making him become broken.

During the end of the game, he killed the hivemind, In which, he escaped on a spaceship as he leaves the ship. As the hallucinations come again, he sees his wife one final time as she then disappears again. Issac Clarke has been known for being smart, brave, emotional, quiet and focused during his time on the ship. He is very important to the story because he shows how he feels due to him being thrown into a nightmare, he survives using intelligence instead of being trained and he shows how fear, trauma and shows how his hallucinations can affect someones mental health.
